We finally got rid of the big ole piece of crap! (see Fleetwood Files Blog) We are happy to say we now own a Patriot Thunder that has been a JOY to own! We were able to get to and from Denver!!! We actually made it to the Bandimere Race, weird huh! Actually, I think Bryan did have a hose blow off and we thought, "OH NO!!! NOT ANOTHER ONE!!!" (Lemon) But it was repaired and they were soon in Denver as planned. We cheated and flew....LOL
The guys had a great time. Joey did well, in his age group, on Wednesday. It was interesting to see so many JR's in one place.
Joey drove his last race in the smaller car. We procured a Spanky new JR RACECAR while we were at Bandimere. The Watts Racing Original has been passed down to Nathan who was nervous but is now HOOKED! Joey's car is wider...he can actually get in and out of it without help. Nathan sure looks small (and serious) in the WRO Car!! He took 2nd place on Sunday in the Gold Crown Race, so he is now the proud owner of his first Wally!!! Joey's car needs a couple of mods before the Division Finals this weekend....more tk
